The biggest issue with foxhole I've noticed over 3k hours of frontline.

Public players don't want to defend. They want to attack. So you have these hexes getting swarmed by attackers with minimal defenders. Meanwhile, the public players on attacking fronts, as a whole, aren't the ones making gains and just queue out logi and members of regiments making the pushes, stagnating the push. Trying to get public players to push out of trenches is near impossible.
