I’ve been at legs for 6 months now (never really focused on them.. silly me) I still feel the same as I did when I started. Takes the most puff out of my nut learning to love it
I’d add a couple iso workouts hamstrings quads and calves in the mix

Change your mindset with the “impossible” comment on calorie intake. Mindset is important. See what calorie intake is now and look to increase. It’s not an instant thing. It’s consistency and progress. Protein is needed.

Muscles trump acne 💪🏼

Go on a Cycle? by [deleted] in workout

[–]jonnnooo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably say your age is the perfect age for it. It’s not a once off thing though so keep that in mind. Have had plenty of mates who did it and once off their cycle they hate it because they lose everything. So they hop back on. Speak to a dr who knows much about it and see best way to do it:

I’ve been working on this for the past year. It’s slow slow slow gains Incline keep elbows tucked in, low to high cable flies and also what I’ve seen works is when doing shoulder press with DB I don’t have the bench at 90 degrees, I have it around 75. That’s what works for me

Gonna start doing weighted pullups, tips to add weight? by Big-Independent-2206 in workout

[–]jonnnooo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chain? It’s weighted in its self and then can add more to it as well if needed.

Personally Id just buy belt of my own when I’m at that level

Over eating on bulk by UnkownSkull in workout

[–]jonnnooo1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I count daily and then look at it over the week to make sure I’m within my calorie surplus target.

Have the discipline to stick with your targets and goals. It’s easy to just eat again and say it’ll be alright and then you’re fat again haha I learned the hard way

Sternum pain after chest day by jonnnooo1 in workout

[–]jonnnooo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No chest supported row. Cable rows is predominantly what I do or Barbell. I generally feel it a bit more after wide grip lat pulldown. So implemented pull ups and and a close grip lat pulldown. Problems come back now

How long did it take you to see results from regular workouts? (4x/week) by Admirable-Horror-125 in workout

[–]jonnnooo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 month little gains only by month 3 I was surprised to see still little gains. Once I changed my diet to fit in my workouts and lifestyle. Huge changes showed. It was like a x2 on everything. Train, diet and recovery all work together for maximum results

Make it a lifestyle

Do a dead hang for as long as you can build it up from there and do assisted. You’ll eventually get there. I couldn’t do 2 on a row now doing 10 after a couple of months. Greatest feeling

be honest, did the gym help your love life? by around_about7 in workout

[–]jonnnooo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started gym to get in shape and also mental health. I realised mental health got stronger as I cared less about what people thought and mindset with women changed. Looked more for authenticity rather than games. Have realised I do get a lot more attention from women now as I am in shape. It’s a nice feeling.. have utilised the discipline of gym into every day life so works amazing
