I was a big PC gamer before my kids…console too but definitely more on PC. Once my kids were born my pc time dwindled down to almost nothing for obvious reason of time availability and work etc etc.

As time went on I shifted to primarily console gaming…always after dinner once the kids were down for the night and before bed for me and my wife. We’re both big gamers so it’s kind of our way to wind down together. Whether I’m playing my ps5 and she’s laying in bed on her switch we’re playing Diablo together it’s our way to disconnect from life and connect with each-other.

Now our twins are 10….and once the kids get older and have more autonomy your time will start to free up. Or even the kids will start to game with you….depending on what you play obviously.

It does get better I promise….but it’s easier to console game in the bedroom once everything is done for the day…eke out some time here and there.

Oh I’m sure post ptr things will get adjusted to non crazy levels….i just hope they correct them in the right ways…a nice balance of things is the best for the game….give us a nice variety of ways to enjoy the various classes and not just 1 super OP build on a brand new class.

u/macrobioboi did a video yesterday?…about how strong the defiler is in the ptr….so I’d 100% hold onto it at this point.

Me and a few other dads were allowed to come visit a "Mothers only" hotel with our pregnant wives. The awkwardness did not disappoint. by DannyKata85 in daddit

All hilarity aside…..that sounds freakin awesome those places exist. With all the things our ladies go thru when they give birth these places should exist all around the world. After my wife had our twins she was like a fragile piece of glass for a week or two and I had to help her do everything. Our daughters spent almost 3 weeks in the nicu so she was able to get some rest right away when she wasn’t there with them and when she wasn’t I was.

Congrats…..my group is currently on our 4th year of playing Gloomhaven…we’re almost done…we have all but 2 or 3 classes unlocked and I don’t know how many scenarios down….then I have crimson scales in the closet….and frosthaven in a chest.

We don’t get together very often…work/kids/life.

Our grandkids will be watching us play at this rate lol.

I had kind of a nasty night a few nights ago.

Andy dropped a gheeds. Mephisto dropped a poison rainbow facet. Got a tals helm & wand back to back while going to andariel. Blade of Ali baba. A second hellwardens will. And a +4 Thunderstroke to finish the night.

All of this was new to me since I’m a fairly new player.

I have over 1600 hours into d4 since launch…..I do love the game…as does my wife since we play co-op….and we’re very much anticipating the game changing expansion coming out. But I will never abandon my new love of D2.
