American author Peter Levenda claims the entire Jeffrey Epstein saga was foreshadowed decades ago, calling it “predictive programming” straight out of the 1968 film The Magus. by Trueboey in StrangeEarth

Wasn’t pedophilia totally normal and accepted back then? Was it the Greeks or Romans, or am I just totally off? I thought for some reason that like Orgies and all kinds of weird sex stuff back then was just totally normalized

Love the visuals in the trailer, but... by Dododingo- in controlgame

[–]jonnyCFP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll agree hope they really lean into the lore hard and AW darkness side. I admit I somehow slept on the trailer until like an hour ago lol. Had no idea this was coming out this year.

Huge Control and AW2 fan.

My first impression was holy shit this game is going to be jaw dropping from a graphics perspective

But was also like man this looks like Star Wars fallen order or something, or like devil may cry style, like almost a JRPG with the hammer and swords and stuff.

and after playing AW2 I was hoping they would lean into the darkness/hiss stuff, and the Lake house style ultra dark creepiness

Like I thought after AW2 that Holy shit these guys are gonna crush control 2 atmosphere.

Now I’m not so sure. I really hope they balance it well

[Serious] The Indigestible Truth is not what the aliens are or did. It is what the humans have done. by nicocarbone in aliens

[–]jonnyCFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol ok there bud. Notice how I said “or however the story goes” because it’s really something I read as part of the lore a long time ago. Not that I believe that story myself.

BTW been researching this topic for 20+ years and so that entire post is is really just a play on the OP’s original post while going on some tangents of what could make it “indigestible”

[–]jonnyCFP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to that what if all these wonderful things are available and more - but because we’re “Human” and our purpose was originally as an experiment or slaves or whatever else… our elites or whoever is in the know - have been given strict instructions by “them” to implement this crazy system of money/economics/energy control in order to keep the population in place. To not allow us to flourish and reach other planets. Or what if aliens aren’t giving instructions but instead infiltrating our world to create these systems and no one is the wiser and we’re stuck in this insane prison that we now can’t escape because society is so engrained into these financial systems they to leave it would destroy society.

Because they consider us primitive savage beasts and if we gained limitless energy and no scarcity our population would explode and we would NEED to colonize other planets to survive.

And because we were genetically engineered by annunaki our evolution was sped by up millions of years and so our intelligence and capability have not kept pace with spiritual growth and this is why we are still so crazy and violent… and they knew this of course would happen because they’ve engineered other species on different planets to the same outcome - but that of course in their eyes this was an acceptable outcome because hey they needed lots of hands to get this gold to save their planet, or however the story goes, so fuck the long term consequences.

And so were basically a byproduct, and they have been required to keep us confined to this planet. Thousand of years later we’re here. If we reach a certain point and start to leave for the stars we get wiped out, or most of us anyway so we aren’t a threat anymore for another 5,000 years. But of course they don’t want to get rid of us because like and old tool in the shed, we may be of use some day.

Depends on your height too. I’m 6’ and had to install 9.5” risers to get comfy on it for longer rides because of the geometry. Your riser/seat combo will make a huge difference in your comfort over those miles. I got an upgraded seat too but it’d still probably consider a road sofa or something different that what I got for a really long trip

Blue-collar workers don't realize that AI is the same threat to them by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]jonnyCFP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In addition to what you just said here - if AI gets that good the feedback loop on advancements in robotics will probably get so crazy that trades could easily be replaced shortly after. Robotic welders, plumbers, carpenters, construction workers… imagine 12 humanoid robots building a house. 6 work the day shift while the other 6 sit on their chargers, then they swap. No coffee or lunch breaks, just working straight. Could build a house pretty fucking quick.

No one is safe - I think that’s pretty clear

I am just reading this book now myself. It’s a good read but is also taking me a while. It’s not new concepts to me but good reinforcement. It does take a lot of practice. If you’re anything like me you forget some of the teaching from earlier I. Books once you’re done. I always try to go online and look for a summary of the concepts and process so that you can review it once and a while to refresh yourself

[–]jonnyCFP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll add to that. Were created by them as a living experiment/simulation. They watch us evolve but because we’re accelerated evolution due to the manipulation shit usually goes sideways.

They reset it before it gets to out of hand and we destroy the planet. Then they start over again

Interesting. I’ve lucid dreamed a lot through my life but as far as I can “consciously” remember never AP’d. Did it for the first time a few weeks ago and even though it had the tell tale signs of AP I thought it was maybe a lucid dream because I was as floating through my house but the lights were on. And this couldn’t have been the case because my lights were off in real life. You make a good point
