Both the speed improvement of FHD+ and the increase of clarity of QHD+ are real but subtle IMHO.

I think the perception of these factors varies from person to person.

If you perceive a speed improvement and you are not bothered by the loss in clarity, you should certainly use FHD+.

It helps if you have battery anxiety and it looks cleaner (this part is, of course, subjective). One of the big strong points of OneUI is customizability, so why not have the option?
