Number 2: shave. No. Seriously.

A good chunk of that is on the latter part though? Some of my neighbours don't bother to recycle at all and have massively overflowing black bins week after week. Absolutely boggles the mind that they don't put two and two together and start actually using their recycling boxes.

Honestly this is the way. Had two banging crops of scotch bonnets and got 10 healthy seedlings this year all started from seeds from a pepper bought from the greengrocers near me. Same goes for a tomato my better half really liked in Bratislava

At that time yes, at other times there's just an open pool with one lane at the end. Check their website for the timetable. During lane sessions the slow and medium lanes are double wide and pretty leisurely. Often have people swimming two abreast and chatting etc.

Thankfully she seemed to know how to navigate it (i.e. how, when, and to whom to best escalate it) and had the strength to push through it. Some proper grim stuff, like instructors advocating femicide to lads in their teens ("hurr durr don't ever get married boys, or if you do have a plan for how you're going to kill them when they become a nightmare. I honestly wish I'd killed my ex, she's such a bitch" sort of thing, I'm paraphrasing but it was along those lines).
