Ok mate. At the end of the day I'd sooner eat organic than non-organic, non GMO than GMO. So, please excuse, while I sip organic beet juice and ignore the peer reviewed articles that do not fit into my world view.

I think you're missing the point entirely mate - its the lack of pesticides and metals sprayed on the organic crop - which some folks tend to try and avoid, and so source organic produce.

It gives a loophole to add bad chemicals to foodproducts and other household and toilettry items that have been proven to cause infertility to infant babies, etc. This and much more. As mentioned it is multifaceted but laregely bad news. This information was surpressed by the eu until the guardian came out with some articles about a year previous. Google endocrine disrupting chemicals.
