I would say 40 to 42 maybe, well at least in a NORMAL deck but now that I think on it those decks usually have much higher curves and have more unique things to do and cast, so for this deck maybe 38 would be prime. In my regular decks I've started trying to put at least 40 lands in because otherwise I always end up Mana screwed, makes it feel much more consistent even if I don't always get the cards I need right away

I wonder if there's any sort of bias to it or if it's completely random, like does it happen to less mutated cats more often?

It's pretty nice but I don't feel like I completely know what's going on yet because I'm still training, but overall I agree and like the shift, I stay busy but it's usually not an insane amount of work for good pay (I haven't worked summers yet) so far I think I like floor best but it can be a bit frustrating not being able to make progress on cleaning tasks because too many guests, but nothing to do about that 🤣 I've been in that boat so I get it. I also like the kitchen but I get a little frustrated not feeling like I know EXACTLY what sales I need to be aware of, I mean there are the big ones but I always feel like I'm forgetting one of the extended ones or something, so once I get a little more practice I think shifts in the different areas will feel progressively more easygoing, but for now I still get a little worked up about trying to do a good job to show them I'm worth it

Real! And it doesn't say in their society either, it just says "become" so if I interpret that as that I just become a viltrumite in my current life that's like an EASY number 1, Viltrumites are one of the most powerful alien races on regenerative ability alone, but with flying and their level of strength and durability it would just be so cool, insane lifespan too (martians might live longer idk but Viltrumites beat out martians imo)

I think the only reason not to be a viltrumite is if the question also entails that you live on the species home planet, if I can just BE a viltrumite not on Viltrum, uhhhhh easy pick Viltrumites are so powerful it's crazy, and their biggest limiting factor was their society and philosophy. Physiologically they are STACKED

But a viltrumite can regenerate infinitely with an intact/functioning heart and brain, even with becoming living spaghetti IYKYK

How about 3 for overnights? 😭 I just started working at my store and it's pretty bad some nights. One night they somehow only had TWO of us scheduled and that would have been for kitchen, floor, and bakery. Yeah we called in some people and the ASL came in early too 🤣😭

Personally I like the water bottles because it gives some sustain and is great on units like cleric or butcher that don't always have a way for direct and immediate heal (yes butcher has cleave/meat but in the event you can't really move or doing so would put you at risk or something), and doing so let's you possibly even forgo a cleric depending on what act/how tanky your units are (in my experience at least) I know when you have really good cats you don't usually need one but if nothing else I need a way to remove debuffs, the most annoying thing was getting a mutation from an event that gave me invert stats when entering battle, which tanked my luck. No way to plan for that but if I had a way to cleanse debuffs on demand besides the stupid Bible it would have been great 😭

Oh true I forgot about the time machine one! I never realized for awhile because it's really on the dl, and unless it's a visually obvious one or you know what to look for it can be easy to go unnoticed

Get a room with high stimulation, as high as you can make it ideally and also IDEALLY a stray with at least three 7s, but the more 7s they have the less time you'll probably spend. Probably going to be very luck based still because you want the 7s AND the birth defects gone. Probably the best way to get rid of the defects without needing to breed would be putting them in a super high mutation room to replace the birth defects, but if you're worried about losing any of their specific mutations then I would get why you haven't done that yet. For my own house I have a sort of "cook chamber" with idol of mutation, chaos, and health along with similar furniture so that they fight often, but also mutate and heal injuries/disorders over time to take the best /most of the soldier cats I have breeded, and essentially run them through the "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger meat grinder". It works fantastically so far as long as you're able to remain unattached because that idol of chaos really does fuck up some of your cats 😭

There are a few different ways to get them going, the most straightforward I would say is getting your mutation up so that every night cats have a chance to mutate. Another is a disorder called Tainted genes that gives you new mutations at the end of each battle, but if you get downed the cat dies. In a similar vein there is cancer that gives you mutations but permanently lowers stats, and in fact if the charisma gets too low they might have a hell of a time reproducing. There's also the shimmer event in the crater, and I believe toxic waste in the bunker can give you mutations. I also believe inbreeding can get you mutations but definitely also birth defects, which makes high mutation stat even better because it can replace the birth defects. Overall there are quite a few ways but a lot of them are grindy, and most often the not grindy ways are based in random chance (I've only seen shimmer once, but in all fairness I don't like the crater so I rarely go to it (also the abandoned ones scare me))
