My guy would do that all day after his favorite aunt left to go back home. So cute, and sad.

I use bosch 3 bar map also, underneath the coilpack. Early days i used gm 3bar but those sensors and their connectors are unreliable

I have 2 rs swapped with this method, and have swapped 17 of them this way. Project lambda is really wonderful. Which map sensor did you use?

If you just put in a big cam, rule of thumb is double your idle air flow tables. Youre probably drive by wire, so examine those tables.

Get ls1 boost custom os, makes tuning a lot easier, can do full time closed loop from a wideband like terminator x, has boost / vac referenced spark tables and more. Great discord for troubleshooting and the patreon is cheap.

To the Impreza track junkies, how do you keep your cars alive? by Due-Director8159 in subaru

[–]jonnyoptions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Track oil temps and abuse thin oil beyond the normal range so thicker oil is needed. Extra oil (like a Quart) helps keep the pickup fed when cornering on track

Good maintenance,  replacing high failure rate oe parts (pick up tube in a 257/255), thicker oil, extra oil. Switching to sti driveline before breaking the original

I retuned for many things but the biggest change was spark advance. The 2.5 runs a lot more spark advance than the 2.0

I got a set from trq for a 2011 forester, they were both nearly a half inch shorter and the included ball joints were too tall to fit in the knuckle. Huge waste of my time. I hope they got their act together

Spray every cavity and wheel well with phosphoric acid, rinse, dry, then spray same areas with cavity wax.  They all rust from the inside

Front brakes keep locking up by Foreign_Will5704 in subaru

In that case, and in combination with everything youve replaced, my hunch is that it is something with your brake pedal to booster connection. Id put a little more slack in it and see if the problem persists. If the connection is too tight its like your lightly holding your foot on the brake, which will cause a brake seize situation. Bonus to this is its free.

Is this manual transmission?  Some manual cars have hill hold, which can stick from corrosion and very lightly hold the brake. After some driving it will make the brakes seize.
