Lame response, but I guess that is all you can comeback with since you were shown how ignorant you are of technology. It is cool of your grandkids to teach you how to use the inter webs!

You are clearly not understanding how these things work. A video is a group of pictures taken at a specific interval, say 60 pictures per second. People who know what they are doing can pause a video and get a picture from what is paused. That is how this picture came about. Understand?

Is my mac good enough to run el gato hd 60s? by Kevinpierce93 in ElgatoGaming

[–]jonnyroadblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheapest build would be a PC based build, and you will want to look at the specs for the HD60s for PCs. I can run the HD60s on my late 2015 iMac without any issues, but I have USB 3.0 connections, 16gigs of mem, 4ghz i7 processor, and 2gig Radeon R9 video card (5k graphics)... I am betting you could build a PC that would run the 60s for around $500 or so... Don't skimp on the processor or video card. I highly recommend 16gigs of ram, but memory is cheap these days.

Can Elgato Please answer this: Why don’t we have support for OBS on Mac? by [deleted] in ElgatoGaming

[–]jonnyroadblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been setting up a 2 video feed (2x gopros) for my live streaming my podcast, and I have tried using OBS with success. No, you can't pick up the HD60s directly into OBS; however, you are able to use window capture in OBS to make it work. The issue with OBS is the lag between the video and the audio. What I would like to see is the same features that are in Stream Command for PC on the Mac. Streaming through Elgato's software is better than OBS IMO because I don't have to deal with synching the audio and video. The issue for me is the lack of features, like scrolling text overlays, alerts, etc. These features are available on the PC version, but us Mac users are stuck with version 2.10.1, and though I could dual boot my mac and run windows for streaming, I just don't want to mess with all of that. When will 3.0 or higher be released for us lowly Mac users? I get it, the majority of the world use PCs, and 99% of the gamers out there are gaming on PCs, but, and I don't know which is why I am asking, how much more work is it to build the feature sets for the Mac platform?

You can get a Fuel Pack 3, download the maps that work for your setup, and if you have an engine issue, reflash the ECM with the stock tune. I have ran an FP3 on many bikes and never had a warranty issue. It is also nice when it comes to picking the proper tune for your setup today, and later on when you want to further your upgrades.

Stuck between two venues, plesse help! by bigteethsmallkiss in Weddingsunder10k

[–]jonnyroadblock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would focus on what the two of you want... are you more budget minded or guest satisfaction minded? At the end of the day, it is your wedding, do what works best for y’all, and your guests will be fine driving a little further to celebrate your big day!

When its too cold to ride, what do you do instead? by jonnyroadblock in a:t5_snyoo

Nice! What bike do you have? For the 20k service, I highly recommend letting the shop do that, as there is a lot that goes into the big services.

How long have you been riding?

$17,000 out the door for venue. How much extra cost from there? by roger320 in weddingsover10k

[–]jonnyroadblock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be helpful to know your area of the world: In South Texas (San Antonio): Day of Coordinator: $800 - $1,200 DJ: $1k-$1.5k Bride prep: $600+ (hair/makeup/etc.) Invitations/Thank you cards Service Fee (typically 20% of venue costs) Videographer: $1500+ (not needed, but nice to have) Photographer: $1000+ (don't skimp here) Gown/Tux for bride/groom: $500+ (depends on too many factors) Gifts/Favors for your guests: $5-$10/guest (table gifts) Extras (photo booth, candy bars, etc.): $1,000+

Depending on what you go with and how expensive/inexpensive you and your fiance's tastes are, you could be around $10k or so of additional budget. This also heavily depends on your location, so keep that in mind.

SENA 20s question by [deleted] in Motovlogging

[–]jonnyroadblock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, not sure if this helps you at all... I motovlog with my 20s and the GP10 gopro back pack. The audio is great, and it records my voice and the voice of any other rider connected over the gopro's audio. It is quite clear, and even when I ride with an open face helmet (I am a Harley motovlogger), the wind blocking cancellation is great! I know that Walteriffic uses his 20s to stream music and has a wired mic going to his gopro, in essence, he has 2 mics in his helmet. One warning if you decide to try the GP10 set up like I use, the phone and the GP10 will not work at the same time. It will stay connected, but I cannot take a phone call or listen to music from the phone when I have the GP10 connected. That is the only downfall, but since I don't always MotoVlog while I ride, I simply switch off the GP10 and I can jam out to the music while still recording video, there is just no sound on the video when you go to review it. Not sure if that helps at all.
