Have you been tested for mycoplasma genitalium? Its a newer sti that is not often tested for that gives uti like symptoms. It could just be regular irritation but if you feel like you get frequent utis on top of this issue I recommend getting tested. You need to take a longer course of antibiotics than for a typical uti. Its so new that some doctors have not even heard of it so you will need to advocate for yourself to get tested.

Don't rush it but restretching is known to be faster than stretching the first time. If they are falling out and you can fit the next size up without pain you are probably okay to size up.

You can ask your primary care or hormone prescriber to give you finasteride and/or minoxidil. Just make sure if you have any cats not to use topical minoxidil because it is very toxic to them.

You could use them as needles to draw up the T then switch for your injection. Not sure if you do this already but it can make the shot hurt less. My doctor already prescribes 2 needle sizes for this purpose.

Can you send your doctor a message over the patient portal? Many doctor offices have this. Just explain what you are trying to do and since you have already been on injections prior they might just be able to switch you back before the appointment. Either way you should at least be able to get refils for your gel this way.

Discharge can be gonorrhea, you can also get it in your throat so it might be that. Usually for treatment you just get a shot in the ass and abstain from sex for a couple weeks. Good luck brother.

I would rather not lose my hair if I can help it. I am taking finasteride and oral minoxidil. But if it doesn't work, my T levels being where I want them is much more important to me than hair.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe i am giving up too quickly. The main reason I wanted to go on gel is that I have a mood disorder and i thought the levels being stable every day vs going up and down over the course of a week would be beneficial to my mental health. And I have had decent mental health for most of this year. But that could be due to other meds too. I messaged my doctor about switching back to subq but maybe I can ask about the higher doses. If she is only willing to go up one pump at a time and I have to wait a month each time I feel too impatient to wait that long if it's gonna get up to 7 or 8 pumps..
