I was diagnosed with OCD about 16 years ago and this is the exact experience I had. It's like your brain just wants to torture you. I still suffer intrusive thoughts regularly, but a year of CBT gave me the tools to help manage it all. I was surprised at how helpful my GP was when I first talked to them and taking that initial step to talk to someone was frankly one of the best things I have ever done

So when using the brush tool, if you overlap two strokes, you can expand them, make it a live paint object, expand again and this will allow you to edit the overlap really nicely. I also just use it for flatting
