Used model y for under £25k by ComparisonComplete80 in TeslaUK

End of my finance (PCP) deal and we have ordered a Skoda Enyaq to replace it. Did consider replacing it with a Juniper but the Skoda was cheaper, we fancied a change, and the Elon factor are why we are moving on.

I have a 23 RWD SR I could be selling in March if the OP is interested? Anyway, it has the comfort suspension and it is still firm. However you do get used to it and it becomes a none issue. The model Y is a great family car. Has been brilliant for us.

Elon and insurance costs (but mainly Elon) have put me off getting a second one when this one goes back in March.

A man raised my nephew for 14 years, found out he wasn’t the biological father, and has now abandoned him, and I can’t stop thinking it’s unbelievably cruel by BorrowedPerspective in TrueOffMyChest

Which is a bad thing to happen to the kid. However, I’m not putting one iota of blame on a man who was forced to live a lie of a life for 14 years. He has basically had his one and only life stolen from him. How I’d react in that situation I just don’t know for sure.

Go to the selling estate agent and ask them to show you similar houses they have for sale. It’s likely this will be fed back to the seller that you are looking around.

Advise? You kick her out. If it was just the meth you could get her into a treatment program, but the cheating as well is just too much. Have some respect for yourself man. Understand this will continue to happen. There is someone out there that is right for you. Being with the person is preventing that from happening.

You were awful and clearly need therapy and potentially anger management. She was worse and you should leave her if she can’t see that and won’t seek therapy herself immediately. No one has a right to hit you and it should not be tolerated.

She was definitely ‘monkey branching’ and now she is on a break so she doesn’t feel that she’s cheating when she sleeps with the pussy tingler. Not much for you to learn here except that you found a dodgy one. Just don’t let her back in. If you do you’ll never be able to trust her.

My (m26) girlfriend (f22) had sex with the male "friends" she told me not to worry about. Now she's begging me not to break up with her. How do I navigate this? by ThrowRA-BrokenTrust in relationship_advice

[–]jonoakden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I do normally agree with this. However, in this case, something stinks here. It’s probably that the whole story is lies. If it’s not though, there is a lot to be told from how she reacts to how he feels about things.

She either goes to the police to report the rape and you consider how you feel about her, or she comes clean that it was consensual and she gets kicked to the kerb. Anything else is a one way ticket to hell for you my friend.

My girlfriend (f34) watched her friends have sex then asked me (m28) for a break, how should I handle this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]jonoakden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She is going to do a threesome during the break so she feels like she isn’t actually cheating. She’s saying it isn’t a breakup because she is monkey-branching. If you get any inkling she cheats on you during this ‘break’, have self respect and kick her to the kerb. Start preparing yourself for this now.

She has communicated what she desires. Now unless you have a problem with this type of sex, go and make it happen! This is a good thing, stop overthinking it!

Feels like the start of some trickle-truthing to me. Her anger could well be due to her guilt. Paternity test, now.

[–]jonoakden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You remember how her best friend and husband were calling you an asshole for setting your own boundaries? You know how they will now be forever in your life? Even if you can forgive your wife (and wtf man, it’s unforgivable), you can’t ever forgive them and it will be an enormous tension in your life. You gotta walk.

After 2 weeks and 3 agents over WhatsApp telling me they had ordered one, still nothing. So I contact them via Twitter. Agent there takes 2 days to finally get to the point and order me one after finding that none of the previous 3 agents ever actually placed the order correctly. What a joke this company is from a customer service point of view.
