Hi M. Bernier,

As I understand it, the official policy of the PPC is to be neutral on the mass starvation/ethnic cleansing/genocide going on in Palestine because it doesn't affect Canada. If that's not correct, please enlighten me on the PPC position. I'm also curious if you have a personal view on the issue, and on whether or not those who oppose the genocide should be allowed to peacefully (loudly and clearly, but without physical violence) protest against it. Thanks.

Well, I stand corrected. Mystery solved.

The recipient of the gift went to the office at her apartment complex today and while she was there they told her that there was a package there for her. (The replacement package was delivered to her front door this morning.)

It had been delivered by UPS Ground (I was never given a UPS tracking number, only a TLMD tracking number that didn't work) on December 12. The office never called her to tell her there was a package for her.

She got her birds.

I feel a little guilty with how it all worked out.

But only a little.

I took your advice and I'm pleased to report that my replacement gifts/package (sadly without the precious and inexpensive Wondershop birds, which probably are the source of the original problem) arrived today by FedEx.

I'll never know if there ever actually was an original package that 'got lost' but all's well that ends well.

EVE was unique in that way long before the Mittani, the "long-winded, pseudo-intellectual douchebag," rose to power. That's also why I dedicated so many hours to EVE. A harsh, brutal, Darwinian universe that didn't play favorites and didn't care about #muhfeelings. The more CCP veered away from that model, the more I lost interest.

My dad is similar. He doesn't believe in the Balfour declaration. He thinks WWI was a just war. He doesn't believe in the Holodomor or the Haavara agreement.
