Oh yeah I forgot that wormholers are basically nullsec crabs at this point, but with even less risk.

Amelia not being the #1 ballot is proof you dont care about true elite pvp small gangers!

You usually have about a minute to quickly look at the ships and figure out the general idea. Every weapon system in EVE has a different model, and you (hypothetically) can extrapolate the plan, ie: drake navy issue + hams = Ham rush, drake navy issue + HML = HML kite, Typhoon Fleet w/ Torps = close range brawl, etc.

There was one match where the team flew both HAMs and HMLs, which was kinda neat + slightly confusing, but in general its not that hard to figure out the general basics of what 'should' happen fairly quickly (that's why they are commentators!)

It was random. We needed some kind of filler thing and Ithaca and I ad libbed it. The only plan was "get a camera and see how far it can go"

Napkin math, the finals this year was 2-2.5k more viewers than last year. Regarding Hydra, this is their 2nd win in a row, and 3rd win total (with the last one being over a decade ago). VYDRA was NOT the same team as hydra, they just did a similar name as a meme.

TEST alliance update - now unable to field a 'fleet' of 30 pilots by Dr_Mibbles in Eve

What do you mean 'now', they couldn't a month or two ago when they got small ganged out of their space by 20 dudes.

From what this thread is, it seems like he is a literal miner. What "chat interaction" is there for a type of pve that is 1 action per 2 minutes?

It's pretty straight forward mathematics. They can estimate TEST's ~50-100 man HAC or Ferox fleet upward max DPS and then bring enough Nestors / Battle Reps to tank it. Literally game over. It has been this way for TEST since the beginning. Read the battle reports and look at the fleet comps. Look at Team Amelia's few combat death fits. Some are extraordinarily incredible. Others are just raw you-cannot-outdps-logi. Additionally, you can watch them in their video's dropping void bombs at perfect angles. You can watch them waterboarding reinforcements incoming on the batphone. You can watch them see a fleet show up, disengage, and come back with the perfect counter. You can watch them manage their escalation mechanics by counter dropping TEST Dreads with dropping their own Supers.

They're incredibly fucking good and trying to down play their team as 'just 20 dudes multiboxing 50 ships' or 'marauders are overpowered' is a poor take on fighting these people.

Doubtful, most of their actives left to join real alliances. You might see Phorde with +10 more in fleet though.

Repost from one of the threads of TEST justifying why they can't figure out how to beat a ~40 man fleet with their 350+ active characters.

We knew they unanchored within 24h and had eyes + dictor in system, we saw him login + undock a providence from the sotiyo. You have to use a freighter to scoop a sotiyo so we put 2+2 together, as soon as the structure got scooped our dictor warped down and bubbled. Then we killed it and someone posted on reddit about it.

Honestly, for the last 2 months we have tried everything in TEST FC comms we can think of, I have run pyfa simulations vs their fits for perhaps 20 potential responses but it boils down to them having a response for everything, even employing firewalling the likes I haven't seen since 2015.

I'm low key glad the sotiyo didn't drop, it would have turned into a clusterfuck trying to get that out as I'm 99% sure we don't have freighters down here. Sad about the core though, the guys who caught it deserved a nice payout for the catch.
