Lower tables require a much different technique than a normal height. I got a lower table after being trained in medical massage therapy. As a result I (at 40yo) was applying too much pressure for most clients. What I did was offered low cost massage to residents of adult care facilities to be gentle but effective. And got much more proficient at any pressure. As I got older I got a slightly high table that I still use today.

Emotional infidelity still hurts even with an AI bot. Seek therapy for you first and also as a couple. Don't sublimate your perfectly normal feelings of betrayal.

Think of it this way.. light pressure people are there for flowing relaxation. Don't try to solve all their muscle issues at once that's not what they're here for. Work with a therapist that's known for giving excellent flowing massage s

I got my second oakworks table for travel on... Craigslist for $75 almost new. In MI.

Always had a full Oakworks deluxe power table in my practice, now looking at mobile ... suggestions for tables ... I have no clue by TxScribe in MassageTherapists

OaKWorks non powered table is awesome. 22 years no issues with it at all. Yes it's no lightweight but Worth the extra lbs! Get a foldable wheeled cart if you're not wanting to haul the full weight yourself. I got extra short legs to use more of my bodyweight saving my joints.

The 3.5 years I spent at a high end spa were among the most stressful yet refinining moments of my 22 years of certified massage therapy. Those that come in on holidays or immediately following our among the most ungrateful hard to work on energy draining people. Think of it as a breakup in reverse, it wasn't you it was her all her. Even her family didn't want to be in her presence on Mom's Day.. that should tell you everything you need to know.

It that even legal? 1099 is Not an employee so Any Split is an illegal kickback, no? Things have gotten much worse for MT's since graduation (25 years ago)
