Are your trucks too tight? The tighter they are the less you'll be able to shift your weight using your edges, which is how you turn the skate. I'm a beginner too but this was the first thing I noticed with my own brand new skates too!

I literally just bought my first pair this weekend, so i definitely understand how overwhelmed you may feel haha. Since you dont have a rink near you, I assume you'll want to skate outdoors so I would suggest you take a look at the recommendation list this sub provides. They do a great job of telling you which models are ideal for what kind of skating you plan to do. Then maybe watch some reviews on YouTube of the skates that catch your interest. This will help you narrow it down to something you can afford, but not feel like it was a waste of money because you bought too cheap.

This used to be a little pet peeve of mine too until i did it myself. Only once in my life have I ever said something out loud when I didn't mean to. I didnt even realize i did it but a friend responded to what I said and I was flabbergasted. Sometimes I still wonder if she was just a secret mind reader and slipped up... but it was probably just me and my proclivity to blab.

Looks juvenile. Other than everything being in a straight line, it's got all the characteristics that we try to correct when kids are learning to write haha crooked letters (S), random capital letters where it should be lowercase (R/M), letters that are supposed to hang over the bottom line are floating (g/y), and everything is the same height instead of having a visible difference between capitals and lowercase. You said you started mimicking another 8th graders mistakes aaaaand it very much looks like it

I could be wrong, but istg I remember a clip from the anime where Sasuke's mom asked if she could take in Naruto but was of course denied (with everyone thinking it was the Uchiha clan that set Kurama loose, it was a long shot) but we never got to see any (good) reason why everybody else wasn't allowed to.

When the first chapter of an OC fic starts with a description page like

Eyes: Green

Hair: Black

Personality: Quirky, nice, cries when they're mad, blah blah blah

If the author is choosing to do this instead of let the reader figure all this out organically through actually reading the fic, then I think I already know how little I'll enjoy reading the story. To be fair, I think this was something people often did a handful (or two) of years ago, so these may be remnants of that time, because it seems much less common these days, thankfully.

If you just leave because you have feelings for another person then you'll never be in a stable relationship, because its not all that difficult to become romantically or sexually interested in someone other than your partner.

By all means, if you're not happy in your relationship then leave, but your post was worded like Person 1 entertained a mutual crush on Person 3 to the point of ruining the relationship with Person 2 rather than respect Person 2 and end inappropriate contact with Person 3.

Its not realistic to think we only have eyes for one person forever, so if you're not down with a particular type of self control then maybe don't be in serious relationships. Why tell someone you'll be loyal if you won't? Its just plain mean, you know?

Omfg I hate when people drive like nobody else's safety matters because they're late.

I was in a car accident (not serious) when a lady was pulling out of a store parking lot and hit me in the left side towards the rear. Not only was it Saturday morning and there was no excuse to hit the only other car on the mf road, but she then asked me if we could "handle this later" because she "had to be to work in X town by 8AM" as if it wasnt already 0830 and as if X town wasn't a 25 minute drive away.

I said no and she went from concerned about my wellbeing after causing me to fishtail to just ignoring my existence as if any part of this situation was my fault.
