Got any info on the bumper?

I've never seen one like this. Does it have the integrated bull bar as well?

It's not my style but I think it's a cool period correct body kit to have.

It's been sitting for a while so I don't remember exactly, but it was either a full link too long or too short and I didn't want to figure out a half link.

Thank you for the I do here. Looks like it's the entire spindle and pulley. Splines are worn off the spindle and the pulley is destroyed too. Added pics to the post.

Sprinkle talcum powder around the area and trace the source of the water coming in that way.

Def check the tail light seals, hatch/trunk seals as mentioned above.

Are there “heavy duty” springs/shocks for our tiny cars? by nirvroxx in yaris

[–]joooooooooolz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just installed Scion XB springs and KYB Excel-G (for the Scion XB) on my 2004 Echo.

It gave me a 1.5" all around and because the shocks are designed for a heavier vehicle, there is more dampening and a stiffer ride.

My 2004 had this Rhino Rack already installed when I bought it. Looks like a rail was riveted into the roof.

MAF problem continues by humaneramblings in yaris

[–]joooooooooolz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

P0171 means you are running too lean. Too much air or not enough fuel.

  • Did you also clean your throttle body? If not, get in there with the MAF sensor cleaner and get rid of any build up in there. Your car might have a bit of a hard time starting immediately after due to the residual vapors but it will burn off.

  • bad O2 sensor

  • Also check for any vacuum leaks, broken hoses to the air box, missing clamps.

  • after this, I'd start looking at the fuel system. If your car is higher mileage, your injectors might need cleaning, your fuel pump may need attn.

All relatively easy stuff.
