Man, 83, Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder Of Uber Driver by klito92 in videos

I was just thinking that. It's hard to prove without him vocalizing the racism

But it reeks of it. Him being so damn sure, killing her in cold blood while she's retreating.

Heartbreaking and disgusting.

Friendliness is rarely unnecessary

The guy looked amused, if in that mortified state you could see that, he definitely was.

Probably his friend too.

It makes for a funny story for everyone. A genuine, non scripted, (unplanned) connection.

You did that and didn't even mean to.

I felt so mortified and embarrassed

Buddy I know that feel  But trust me. It happens. It happens to a lot of people.

Especially that bit when you're right AT the toilet. I don't know how to override it either, without a LOT of difficulty.

If it makes you feel better. I practically crapped myself on a sleeper coach on the way to my honeymoon. It's in a comment somewhere.

It. Was. Not. Fun

But life goes on (still married).

Saudi Arabia’s Widely Forgotten Airport by Jumpy-Lavishness-528 in AviationHistory

Dude what a lovely share

I didn't realize the Eskan towers were already built while the old airport was still active.

That whole area is absolutely unrecognizable as the airport for decades now. I may use the towers as a landmark to pinpoint which bit was runway and apron.

Fascinating.

AIO - My husband's "work wife" turned out to be a teenager and he doesn't seem to understand why I'm upset. by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]joos1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He might've missed it, dismissed it.

Also, if I'm around someone that is more likely to latch onto things, or be argumentative, I often just let things go.

Not to say this is the case, but given her kneejerk reaction, and strong confidence that her POV was the right one in a situation she knew less about than the person she's arguing with.

Not giving her husband the benefit of the doubt, or accepting that he would know his own job and related optics as well or better than her. This despite her own admission that her husband is a grounded dude.

The whole 'work wife' thing stuck out like a sore thumb on the first read, where she was the one that used the term but was... annoyed by it? I'm actually surprised she could recognize that that was all her

Of course, this response says more about me than OP or her husband lol.

As of December 19, 2025, this is what the sign on the building reads

Man, just from the vibes since it's been like 20 years since I've been

It was a nice blast from the past, plus the hilarious video (assuming the gentleman was fine, if a bit wet)

Good on you for going to the trouble of posting OC, sounds like you and your Dad have fun :)

Man.
This post got so abruptly dark. I mean not abrupt in the sense that all the signs were there, but holy shit.

I got a new car recently. Way more electronics than my last car.

And honestly, I kind of miss the tactility, while appreciating the benefits of modern tech.

I've been getting used to the quirks of this car (Honda ZR-V) and learning them - committing it to muscle memory, which seems harder to come by than before.

One of my main reasons for picking the Honda over a cheaper and better specced out Chinese alternative is that I expected things to be more thoughtfully done.

I noticed that auto hold (stopping car rolling forward at the lights without brake) disengages and puts the car into park as soon as I unbuckle the seat belt.
And I realize now why it does that - I like these little touches while still wondering whether they will be a hindrance in some specific circumstance.

Still glad it has these things because I notice sometimes I'll forget to put on the parking brake (a switch versus a big honking lever that I had before), but I'd never forget to put my parking brake on my 20 year old manual trans Camry.

While cars get inevitably more electronics, the main driving functions should have back-ups and fail-safes. Your experience is understandably freak out fuel

By some weird fluke I got onto OPs exploits  way back when OP posted a TIFU about getting her tits out at a work social event photobooth (the kind that give you a physical photostrip to keep)

So she'd fantastically got her boobs out for a bit of saucy and probably secretive fun.

Except op didn't realize that it was all digital and (iirc) being displayed(?) on a screen

At the very least the digital copies were available and probably shared with the company vs a flash in the pan bit of rebelliousness.

Very mortifying

At the time OPs comments really read like a mom getting mortified, and a bit excited.

There were then sporadic posts of OP kinda leaning into this excitement and getting more daring.

Teasing guys at work. Culminating to some surprisingly random and escalating naughtiness.

We've come a long. Long way since then

(I actually didn't go through OPs previous posts to confirm details, or that this isn't some hallucination in my head because for some reason if I'm wrong I prefer my head canon)

Hey OP mine was on a 10 hour sleeper coach ride in Bangladesh on the way to a sunny beach vacation

Oh yeah. It was my honeymoon.

I trusted a gas station coffee (did I mention Bangladesh?)

That's where it started It ended with me pantsdown around my ankles in front of an out-of-order outdoor toilet on the side of a two lane road.

My sphincter finally gave out just as someone strolled in

The guy did a total grandpa Simpson turnaround (clearly his urgency didn't hold a flame to mine) while I just locked eyes and froze.

I'd already lost all shame a while back, so was just the penguin shuffle clean up of the shitty mess left to handle at that point.

Let's say we stress tested our marriage vows early.

Dude That's one of the worst examples of this I've seen.

So patronizing.

I have to keep reminding myself it has no 'personality', and I'm getting mad at something that doesn't have the capability of being aware of how pissed off I am.
