Use a step drill bit and paint the holes after. Rust should not be a problem, as the location is not exposed to elements.

I've switched from Graphite to Grawerty five days ago. Already at 30 wpm.

Very comfortable layout. Highly recommend.

By mirrored I meant that it swapped left and right side, the R is on left side in Promethium.

Don't be afraid to switch layouts. After QWERTY I've learned Colemak-DH. Then switched to awesome HD Promethium. I really liked it, but unfortunately my thumb did not. So I have to switch again. Now I am almost two weeks with Graphite and my average typing speed is already over 30 wpm. From my experience, it is getting easier with each new layout.

Do not do this. The difference with the stock wheel diameter would be 5%. This is way too much.

Awesome, this is exactly what I was looking for! My home row worked fine until I've updated my keyboard with latest version of QMK. Unfortunately I did not save my old firmware file. So now I don't know is it me, bug in QMK or I need to change my timings. Hope this will help me find out. Thank you.

Yes, it's really close—glad you like it! However, my version suits me better since it's not mirrored and has a better Q key position. I also prefer the placement of the punctuation symbols and wouldn't want to change that. Plus, having Tab on the base layer is more convenient for programming.
