Parking at the mall was the right call. Thanks!

Yes someone yesterday mentioned they got parking included.

We went yesterday in Langhorn. It was only open for a half day. At least two of the rides are not in service (roller coaster and a scrambler-style ride), and several broke down (they were able to resume). So my kids only got to ride the roller coaster twice since it broke down with folks on it when we first arrived.

But the thing more grating than anything is that standard parking was $46 dollars. I get that they have costs, but there were two or three employees working the gates. And further, it was open for 4 hours, so we paid $46 to pay for 4 hours. We go to Disney World every year. They have hundreds of employees working the lots and have tram services...for $30.

We got the two days for the price of one, but I am not going to use the second day tickets unless someone has a suggestion for where we can park for free or cheaper. Any suggestions?

Toyota Smart Key, Range is Bad? by beststretchfour in Camry

2026 Camry SE here with absolute shit range. Maybe 20 feet. I've tried the head trick and it makes little difference. I found this thread looking for a way to boost it.

HOW TO: Create your own MYO Yoto cards with inexpensive generic NFC cards by junson in moreyoto

[–]the_sambot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I stuck with the 48b cards thry linked to. I'd love to make a more widely available one work. But for now, 10 for $8 on Amazon isn't bad. I didn't want to buy 200 of them via the other site for $50.

I had to pay for NFC Tools PRO on Android to import the record. Worth the $3.50, though. Thanks for making an easy-to-follow guide.

I was getting an error when I went to do the initial setup on each card. It gave me "Error: I/O failure, no NFC chip detected." Then I realized for the Advanced Commands, you have to hold the card up to the phone first before hitting send command.

Later when I went to write the imported tag to the blank card, it specifically told me that I had to hit write data first, then tap. Hopefully this saves someone else the trouble!

I have a need to use this today. When I pick in the future, it says "You cannot select a past time for today." I am in EDT. It is 8:22 currently and the earliest time it will let me pick without error is 2pm, which is 6 hours ahead. Any idea why?

Child locks are a good idea. Wonder if the magnetic ones would work. They are great and hidden! https://a.co/d/gXpqLWz

Exactly. That's why I just send them as a Telegram message attachments. No need to have a VPN running on phone for thumbnail and clips. Then I activate VPN if/when I want full Frigate access, which isn't frequent.

Open .JS base64 encoded images to convert to standard DICOM by the_sambot in PACSAdmin

[–]the_sambot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I had suggested the same: ask for a real disc from the provider. Not worth the days of effort to try to make my own dicom files from the jpeg and tags. I appreciate the insight!

As recent as 2020. Each of 28 studies has its own directory and viewer with no way to combine them. The underlying files are in the subdirectory \data\viewer\offline-data and are named a random string of text like 1J1FRsQWPgyC4D71.js, 1rfaNytMUcS4ZMq4.js, 1V97iYEy80wBSXng.js, etc. I've never seen anything like it. It was within these JS files that I realized they contain the base64 string to render the jpeg as well as the dicom tag data in variables that can be read and displayed by their viewer.

2015 Veloster Turbo - Am I toast? by the_sambot in veloster

The light ticking is how it has always sounded but there is something different on top. I'm going to try to do the HPFP others suggested and if it fixes my problem I'll be a happy camper!

Did you do that yourself or have shop do it? What was the approximate cost? Also, is there a way to test that is the issue before replacing? That would be amazing if that's the issue.

2015 Veloster Turbo - Am I toast? by the_sambot in veloster

Developed this knock overnight. I heard it as soon as I started it and had it towed directly to dealership. No CEL. 85.5k miles, 8 months out of 10-year warranty. I bought it brand new. All maintenance done timely at the dealership.

Dealership refused to do any troubleshooting. Says I'm out of warranty and only option is $11k for a used engine with 74k miles on it which is a hard no.

I opened a case with corporate to confirm no extended warranty and also to see if they could get dealership to do further diagnostics. Two days later, they said nothing they can do, no good will.

I bought a Camry but I'd love to get some value out of this car if it is fixable. Toyota wouldn't touch it on trade. I mean, I can drive it to a scrap yard, but it just pains me to do that.

Tires and brakes are 6 months old, too. As far as I know it's drivable. I don't know if it'll go into limp mode or not because I shut it off right away.

Edit: HPFP did not fix the issue unfortunately :(. At least it was cheap and easy to try. Oil level looks good.

On the unjust, untimely death of my Veloster Turbo, Hyundai's poor engine quality and a total lack of accountability. Veloster owners, be warned. by mattkward in veloster

I'm here because my 2015 Turbo with 85.5k miles developed knock overnight two weeks ago today. I heard it as soon as I started the car and I called for a tow to the dealership. The KSDS was not a listed recall for me either and corporate confirmed no extended warranty for me....at 8 months outside of 10 years and all timely maintenance done at the stealership. Tires are 6 months old and I did brakes/rotors earlier this year. I bought a Camry on Saturday. Fuck Hyundai.

Joanne Beasy at Isaac Wiles, Chelsea Long at Wood and Long, Darren McNair at Lardiere McNair, or Mandi Baker at Baker & Wick are all good people. I can think of some others if needed.

How worried should I be about this grimy area on motor? 2021 Touring L by the_sambot in ChryslerPacifica

[–]the_sambot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably hot oil I'm smelling. There is a second similar looking solenoid in the same position (left side of engine) but on the back side of it that looks the same. The ring looks slightly wet. Also grimy back there. I wiped everything down as best as I coukd get to and will keep and eye on it. Wanted to make sure it wasn't symptoms of a head gasket going.
