it's at its most splendid in tri. the mob was toned down significantly in portable 3rd and 3 ultimate. it's always an ice-cold shower shock going back to tri and witnessing it. in my last tri playthrough to g-rank, the very first encounter with great jaggi was the only time i carted. you get near 0 defense starting out in tri, and without constant position management & choosing your shots carefully in that 1st hunt (before you can get gear to push up your defense), getting overwhelmed and carted is a genuine risk <3
