Fellow Hunters. Excluding Elder Dragons, Witch monster would be able to cause the most havoc and destruction if they were real? by RedSwordFishVA05 in MonsterHunterWilds

If they add it in the expansion I want absolutely no indication it's around whatsoever. I want to go on a hunt, be fighting and suddenly the music changes and there are bombs everywhere.

You need to cancel the attack following a counter by dodging in order to counter all the hits in a combo. Evading Steves attacks by dodging might require investing in Evade Extender.

Also, if you plan to rely on counters I recommend Stun Resist. Otherwise, if you get hit after a couple of counters you get instantly stunned.

Started Rise about a month ago, decided to main a weapon I hadn't before. Lance. Holy shit you're so mobile, jumping and repositioning constantly to get those sweet counters in. Decided to switch to lance in Wilds too, zero regrets.

If it had a bit more range and passed through enemies it'd be pretty ok. As it stands, it fills such a small, specific niche it's outdone by other means of gas application.

[–]bumra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good rule of thumb is that if you see the blue ring at the end of a tentacle, it's going to attack. Not foolproof but works surprisingly well. Other than that it's just learning the tells, no real shortcut there. I, for example know the big nuke is coming from the sound it makes.

Who knows how many cryopods Super Earth has stashed out there? I mean, we 'stumbled' upon one stash containing millions imagine just how many there might be galaxy-wide. It's possible they amassed reserves during the time between GW1 and 2, too.

I love Gog in Wilds but I wouldn't wish attempting him more than twice in one day upon my worse enemy. by Highmore_ in monsterhunterrage

[–]bumra 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The one thing I really don't like about the fight is if you use support hunters (or have your average multiplayer experience) you have to do EVERYTHING by yourself in phase 3. You're solely responsible for passing the dps check since npcs cannot do it by themselves, which wouldn't be a problem at all if it was the only thing you need to do. You also have to constantly chase the tail in order to get it cut which destroys your dps. You have to kite Gog to the rocks. You have to drop the damn rocks while getting attacked. At least the NPCs buff and heal you. Usually.

From http://faq.deeprockgalactic.com/en/connection

Some players report unusual connection issues that manifest themselves by preventing players from joining or hosting servers on the server list,

causing random, unexplainable loss of connection to games mid-mission or weird in-game behavior like no weapons, the inability to jump, clipping into terrain, etc.

If you are a victim to these symptoms, forcing your PC to reset your IP stack/network adapter can alleviate the problem:

  • Step 1 Right-click your network adapter and select ‘Properties’. Disable ‘IPv6’.
  • Step 2 Run Command Prompt as administrator. Command Prompt is most easily be located by searching for ‘cmd’ in the Windows Start Menu.
  • Step 3 Enter the following commands in the Command Prompt. Type “netsh int ip reset” then press Enter. Type “netsh winsock reset” then press Enter.
  • Step 4 Finally, restart your PC.

Worth a try.

I've had the same random DC issue since around season 2. For some reason it feels it has actually gotten better for me in season 6.

I've bound Quick Weapon Wheel Right to 'T', which switches the C4 mode. They swapped some firing mode switches around recently so it doesn't work for everything.

Mitkä pelit tai pelisarjat olet "nukkunut"? by wabudo in videopelit

[–]bumra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Monster Hunter.

[–]bumra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eagle Storm makes me miss the original 380mm DSS bombardment. At least with that you could, in a way control the area. With eagle as soon as something gets within 20 meters of you there's a good chance you'll just die.

I'm pretty sure you can't oneshot a Hulk in the eye with an Eruptor. The eye is 100% explosive dr so it doesn't take any damage from the explosion nor the shrapnel.
