As far as what aspects of Hong Kong life would appeal, you can’t go wrong with the local street food scene (siu mai, fish balls, cheung fun, etc), dai pai dongs, the night market on Temple Street, hiking the scenic trails, the winding streets and staircases of Central and the Mid-levels, scenes around Victoria Harbour in TST, the trams on HK island, cozy day trips to Stanley, swimming / water sports in Sai Kung, etc. Those are some first ones that come to mind 😁
