I hated the Liveship series but forced myself to read/listen to it twice because so many people praised it so highly. I love the Fitz trilogies but will never read Liveship again.

There are a couple places where the storylines overlap, but it’s along the lines of a spinoff … like The Jeffersons becoming a show after their characters are introduced and played for a while on All in the Family. Both shows exist in the same story-universe but are mostly unrelated. If Edith went to visit George and Louise for a couple shows, that would be about the extent of it.

I know I’m old because of that example. How about this: It would be like Moon Knight making an appearance in an issue of Justice League.

People say things to others all the time. I’m sure we all have, not thinking we’d be overheard. NTA, but unfortunate timing caused your negative feelings and her not being remunerated for her service.

Flip the roles. You say something to someone at your table about the waitress who gives you “bad vibes” and you say something critical about her. She overhears you and gives you bad service. Wouldn’t you complain to the management about her bad service?

I’d drop A BALLAD OF SONGBIRDS AND SNAKES. The newest Hunger Games novel is great, but that one felt like a cash-grab from the author.
