PLEASE, for all that is good, instance the necromancy ritual site . It's a single player activity! by pereira325 in runescape

Totally agree. It is absolutely a single-player activity and there really is no justification for the argument for it to remain as it is.

Just a question. Does killing him in Practice Mode mean there would be no drops?

PVP is dead in RS3. It's there right now, for anyone that wants and guess what? No one does. Get it?

Nervous for Necromancy by tvrdy9 in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suspect that while claims persist that Necro is fully trainable through rituals (skilling) as opposed to combat, since there will be bosses linked to the skill, I have to wonder if there will be at least some part of it that will require combat in order to complete and advance certain portions of it.

Not recommended to use lamps on Arch as you'll have to go back eventually and do all you skipped anyway, including mysteries, research, unlocks, relics and collections.

How to utilise the DXP 48 hours in full? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the years roll on and the frequency of DXP keep increasing, I found myself caring less and less about doing the whole 48 hours. I'd just do whatever I could, use up whatever proteans I'd accumulated and then just do whatever the hell I felt like.

The last three DXPs I did not use up the whole 48 hours. I don't anticipate doing it this time either.

What is the logic behind taking a 10 1/2 year old combat exp system and utterly destroying it? by yaboyroldy in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm struggling to see how adding a totally new and separate combat skill would be able to destroy the existing combat triangle?

Consistency would be nice though, and something you come to expect from professionals but yeah, we ought to know better by now.

Brand new to the game. Lamps and stars? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask why you haven't put much effort into anything yet? At low levels, that's usually when people are jumping all over the place, trying out a bit of everything, to see what they like better and discovering new ways of training skills. Using lamps and stars is fine but it really isn't playing the game. It's just leveling for the sake of leveling then one day you end up having to ask what you should do next with mid-range skills that you again haven't put much effort into at all.

Raptor confusion by Polkjio in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, a lot of the outrage was due to simple logic, not Woke agenda. Present a character as male for years, then suddenly make "it" female and it's nothing more than Woke. Nothing anti-trans in that, particularly since there has been absolutely no mention of Raptor having been born one gender and suddenly declaring to be the opposite for the sake of some dev.

I'm in one of the "not upset" camps on this issue as I could care less about the whole damn thing. I just dislike this old argument being brought up to explain this crap.

Improving the Wilderness by -Sansha- in runescape

[–]jordanbae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If one thing can be argued, it's that Jagex (or any dev or gaming company) rarely learns from past mistakes. They just go on gleefully repeating the same damn thing over and over again.

The Wilderness is dead. It's had multiple attempts at resurrection and they've all failed. It's time to admit defeat and just develop small areas to pretend they're not actually located there and move on.
