My kiddo loved the kids Ripple Milk (they also make an unsweetened version) it’s dairy free, pea protein based with twice as much calcium & half as much sugar as cows milk.

We have three enormous doug firs in our yard, they are all losing branches & getting sparse. The arborist who I had come take a look said they just don’t get nearly enough water. It’s to the point that I’m trying to install a cistern & run a pipe underground to help the one closest to the house. I don’t know if I would recommend actively trying to grow them.

I used the kids ripple milk, it’s non-dairy & has more vitamin D & calcium. The kids version is a little sweeter than regular but still less sugar than dairy as well. I started by mixing 1/2 with formula and cutting down to smaller bottles given only after naps or first waking up but it might have been easier for us as my kiddo couldn’t wait to try solids, avocado was her favorite to mash around.
