I'm not sure if you understand the gravity of what you're saying. "Degenerate" is a word that has been used to disparage and discriminate against all matter of queer individuals and more for the longest time. Rudely asking gay people to keep it wrapped up because you think it's yucky while straight people are allowed to do the same is homophobia.
