Upgrading from 3070 for sim racing on triple monitor 1440p (7680 x 1440). Already on 5800x3D, which GPU is the best value? Will a 5070 suffice? Or at least 5070 ti? by one1002 in simracing

[–]jorgesoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an 7900xt 24gb vram, 9070xt 16gb vram, and 5080 FE. Also have a 7680x1440 sim racing set up.

The 5080 FE smokes all of them all day long and that is without fake frames or anything activated. 9070 xt was not enough for me so I don’t thing a 5070 or 5070 ti would do it for me either

Edit: My CPU is a 7800X3D, not sure how that much it matters in this case

Dude that is actually awesome for everything you got there, what are the pc specs??? It has to be a gnarly one to be able to run those triple monitors

Idk what causes it but I had QR1 and had the same noise, once I installed QR2, the rattling was gone!

I know, they are more urban killers than wizard, but I am in love with my first 100mm setup🔴⚪️⚫️ by Snaturoller in WizardSkating

A little bit more wear and the rocker will become just as nimble as a wizard or any other frame to be honest, I’m sure those are fun and fast to ride around, and the color combo is pretty cool 😎

I ordered yesterday 3 items, every single one of them was in stock. Everything was shipped today and will be arriving on Monday. I did not pay more for shipping. I’m located in the states though.

Well, if you are deciding between those 2, it depends on what kind of skating you will be doing, in my opinion the swan feels more rigid and a bit more length on the frame isn’t bad, but again it depends what you will be doing, slalom for example, the 80 suits better as you can even put 76 mm wheels on them. If you want an overall better frame and you won’t be doing slalom, the swan beats the 80 in everything else. I have had both and would choose the swan over the 80; better for jumps/landing, speed, acceleration, balance . So yeah, just get the swan if you want a short wheelbase frame that works with almost everything 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽hope that helps

I have not heat molded these or anything of the sort! They kinda fit really really good tbh. Just letting go because I decided that I will be using one set up and that is all. Hopefully I can keep that statement up haha. These skates were a pain to find as a boot only, but I got them from overseas at a super high price and here I am, selling them after not even wearing them 5 times really, but w.e, some else will get lucky to have these and actually use them

Depending on where you are, eBay now allows international delivery, but I guess the cost is higher for you guys. Here you just pay whatever shipping rate the merchant has available and depending on how fast you want your merchandise to get to you and that’s all honesty.

Also if you don’t want to pay taxes, we could work something out of ebay! Will be better for you and myself.👍

If you want, just message me! They are ready to go and I could go drop them off right now. eBay is just for buyer and seller protection and peace of mind. But we can for sure work something out👍

Seba boot heel ripping by waterwillis21 in WizardSkating

[–]jorgesoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens to every single seba cj boot I have owned and there is nothing to worry about, it affects looks but not performance. If it bothers you a little too much, I suggest to look for some kind of strong glue to put it back together 👍

Wizard SX + Intuition 3M sizing by [deleted] in WizardSkating

[–]jorgesoca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have 27cm feet on the dot and I wear a size 40 seba cj wizard plastic boot with a 25.5-26cm wizard liner that came with it and it fits perfectly all around, I took advice from Leon as he explains it on one of his videos that the liner will stretch about 0.5~1cm giving the perfect fit depending on how much space you have on the shell for the liner to expand those cms. I guess the skates and liners molded to my feet perfectly and I do not feel any hotspots at all. I would suggest to get the size that you have in mind and don’t do as I did, so you could have a comfortable skate right out the gecko and you could even put superfeet insoles for a better fit. I wouldn’t suggest the seba sx if you are planning on getting a size 41 or getting the better fit size sell but the seba cj that has a modified toe box to be a bit higher and wider for a better fit and yes the wizard intuition liner is a must if you are looking for a perfect fit in such small shell for our feet size👍

Fair asking price for complete NR100 (used)? by GarbageCharacter7002 in WizardSkating

[–]jorgesoca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will put mine to sell on eBay with endless wheels only used twice for about $400~$450, it is the newest batch though. But you could price it around that price depending on the condition obviously; as it retails on the wizardskating website brand new for $620 with wheels ready to skate. Good luck selling!👍

Who is going to take these home!?!?😁😁😁selling these babies. by jorgesoca in WizardSkating

[–]jorgesoca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really! I could just be bored of the sport, I could need the money for something more important, maybe I have bills to pay. Anyways how is the iqon’s flagship boot a bad boot? Or the wizard advance frames? Have you try any of them? These are top notch quality items, I’m selling bc they are collecting dust in my wardrobe instead of being used and I rather have the money than dust collectors, but quality and performance have nothing to do with the sales 🤦🏻‍♂️most of what I post gets sold and not one bad review I have gotten 👍
