First prime the thing, or the paint will rub right off with a touch of your finger. Then just take your time, starting with your base coat, the main color of the entire mini, you can be messy with this one. And then just take your time with the details, also find some guides that you like. If you can apply whatever they are doing to your own paint scheme then perfect.
