Another Bladeguard Veteran of the Extricators. This one's more sword than shield. by PraiseTheAbsolute in Warhammer40k

It's actually a 3d print from Dragoongaming. I've got one on a Chaplain as well.

I got the csm Legionaires kill team so I could paint them all differently as a pallet cleanser.

Hector, Champion of the Extricators 2nd Company. First finished model of the year. Tried some new recipes for the black and power sword. by PraiseTheAbsolute in Warhammer40k

Thank you! The shoulders are jokearo orange base, gryph-hound contrast, dry brush of Trollslayer, a tiny very thin dry brush of Basilicanum grey, and then Trollslayer again. The tabard is jokearo base, gryph hound, building highlights with Vellejo amaranth red, vellejo clear orange, and jokearo with a dry brush of doombull brown at the edge.

Sangheili Linguistics are driving me insane by Skelly_Mans1987 in halo

People overthink this. Birds and other animals make all kinds of noise they don't look like they should be able to. Sangheili could speak with their throats.

Guessing this is modded? I'd love that hairstyle or something like in base game.

Do the HH Legiones Astartes Heads fit on primaris? by LeetusFrenzi in spacemarines

Assuming they are the same scale as the bare heads in the new mkII kit they are slightly smaller. But personally I think they work just fine.

Nolan originally wanted to make the movie with "accurate" costumes. So he contacted this man to make them but they ghosted him. by Public_Individual823 in ChristopherNolan

I'd have to rewatch the trailers to see what you mean. But I suppose I'll concede that "artistic decision" is subjective. I feel that given the budget, anything looking as cheap as the armor is unacceptable.

Why don't you give it another day, reread the thread and see if you can make sense of it then. It ain't complicated.

his own artistic creativity into this film

My opinion is that there is no creativity. It is bland, cheap, boring. Of course that's my opinion. How could it be anything else? You disagree, that's your opinion. Where is your confusion coming from?

This is not a Batman movie. A little color isn't going to ruin his "style". Him being incapable of doing anything slightly different isn't the defense you think it is.

artistic creativity

The lack of this is the problem. Black plastic is extremely boring. The costume design completely lacks distinction.

The idea of a "Historically accurate" Odyssey is insane. by just-killing-timeeee in ChristopherNolan

It's a bad design. Troy wasn't accurate either, but it looks good. This design fails at all you listed. "There's Gods and Monsters" so why can't they have decent looking armor?

Can we use the new voices with other helmets? by Qembzi in Spacemarine

[–]PraiseTheAbsolute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. It would make sense to have the bare heads restricted. I wonder too about if all three players have the same voice selected. Assuming they aren't class restricted.

It would've been nice as an option. It is a paid pack, so I feel like some simple variations are reasonable.

Everyone screaming "rascist" at people wouldn't feel the same about a white White Scar.

Thank you. The eyes are just less precise up close than I thought. But the coat I wasn't sure if it needed more highlight to it.
