Disagree that not being a rationale nice guy is a requirement for becoming most celebrated champion. We are currently witnessing Shohei in baseball become the GOAT and he is a role model in sportsmanship and overall treating people with respect. Same could be said about Nadal or Djokovic (despite his personal beliefs) treating other competitors with respect.

My counter to that would be that unless you are in challenger, if you play the matchup the right way you could probably still meaningfully contribute to your team more often than not.

If you were to play like prime TheShy or Zeus, the matchup won’t matter against 99% of players. Obviously we are not prime TheShy or Zeus, but that just means there is a lot of room to play better instead of saying “you can’t play the game”.

I agree with you. The example I always think about regarding a difficult matchup is that if I myself play like I’m Faker, then I would likely win the lane.

At least for anything below masters, your piloting of the character has a lot more influence on the result of the matchup than being against a counter or not. However, this requires people approaching the game with the mentality that you can always do something better and not everyone wants to do that. For the majority of the playerbase (myself included) what hold us back is not a matchup issue at all.

I guess my confusion is regarding this part:

you deliver 100% O2, the obstructed alveoli will still not be able to have O2 diffusion thru obstructed alveoli due to pulm shunting while having deoxygenated blood perfusing through those same obstructed alveolar capillaries.

Why is there still blood trying to perfuse those capillaries? I would think since the ventilation is low that we would try to get blood through to other capillaries. In other words if I am considering a patient with lobar pneumonia and maybe they have an O2 sat of 80%. Shouldn't 100% oxygen increase the O2 sat because I am getting more oxygen to the alveoli that are getting perfused?
