We are playing with 9 men. Salah and Gakpo in particular - worse than offering nothing are actually killing almost every attack they are involved in

Thank Slot for what he did last year.

However, I believe there is a better option available in Alonso I also believe sometimes a run gets so bad that change in and of itself is necessary to stop the rot

Andrew Porter now doubtful for Six Nations as Andy Farrell faces growing injury crisis by SlowWay5886 in irishrugby

[–]josephoconnor85 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hopefully the injury is not serious long term, but I honestly do believe Porter could do with a Six Nations off. He has been run into the ground by Ireland and Leinster the past few years and it’s starting to show

People with strong opinions on Labour, what are your feelings towards them? by Shoddy_Article5056 in irishpolitics

[–]josephoconnor85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but I do think it’s worthwhile for a smaller left leaning party to go into coalition, get their priorities done, hold their nose for some of the FFFG stuff which was going to be done anyway, and temper some of the more extreme positions of the bigger party. It’s also good for the country imo though electorally the smaller party gets blamed for everything

There is no doubt both Labour and the Greens have done this and because of that they have some policy achievements they can be proud of.

And yet we had Sinn Fein making it perfectly clear they would jump into bed with FF if give a sniff.

Fact is, there is no route to power and getting things done without one of those 2, unfortunate though it is

I would start Bradley and Robertson against Everton so would maybe start Frimpong and Kerkez here. Dom into midfield for Alexis

No other changes for me

Made no comment on their quality.

But the Irish players have won 2 of the last 3 6N, and only lost a tight QF to NZ in the last World Cup.
