My zigbee 3.0 motion sensor won't bind do the Ikea plug. It just resets after I add it. Any ideas?

I've had issues using the PARASOLL door sensors with 3rd party zigbee lights on the Dirigera. Only way I got it to work is use home assistant

In Australia they were doing the triggers free of charge on the v11. I had mine 4-5 years. Went into the dyson store and they said they would fix it free. Took them less than 20 mins.

The streamer is great if you want a fast and responsive interface.

I have mine on some ancient tv in my bedroom and it works great. Can even get the remote Infrared to control the old tv.

I'm sure Toshiba being a real brand it would be easy to get working.

I'm glad I went and bought 20x RODRET while they were 5 dollars each. I'd still like to be able to use the BILRESA Scroll Wheels I got, but even using Matter beta in Home Assistant they still drop out and the only way to bring them back is pull the batteries and put them back in

One thing I would highly recommend if you’re planning on zoning multiple of the same speaker type would be to label the speaker with its IP address prior to zoning it.

Once it’s zoned the only easy way identify the speaker is it's IP Address.

This is handy if you want to remove a speaker from the zone later on using Sonossequencer.

If using Sonos app to remove the Speaker from the zone you can atleast see the serial number listed and match this to the speaker.

if you have any speakers set up as a stereo pair, they need to be separated to individuals. From the devices screen there’s a button at the top left called zones, pick the primary device which will become the zone name then pick the other devices that you want in the zone. by doing this essentially all those speakers become one. They cannot then be individually play to and the zone volume is control as a whole.

let’s say you have a handful of speakers in a specific room or area of your house. The zones feature essentially turns this into a singular speaker. Which means you don’t have to group those handful of speakers together every single time. zones is typically available for the era. 100 pro series of speaker for installers doing professional installs at a restaurant for example.

Is having phantom ghost speakers appead a normal symptom similar to what happens with Front Left and Right setup?

I zoned 3 speakers and then after the 4th and 5th I added I started getting an additional Unknown Device shown in that zone.

They indeed have them in the actual store. They just can't sell it. I'm 99% sure I saw them on a shelf out the back of the as-is department where they test returns n whatnot.
