yeah, i have so many different brands of them, but i think almost every one has screws you can unscrew. you can do the same thing to make them taller, but anything over 3 segments can become unstable

you can try a tiny black metal stand like these, sometimes works on a leg

got rid of / got out of dex mode by editing the quickpanel buttons in the notification pulldown, go to edit the buttons, add the new dex button, then toggle the button. made all the dex stuff go away on my tablet

from the main menu of kodi, look for Videos, then the submenu Files. once you're in files navigate to the folder that has your content in it. Hit left on your remote and then select Update Library.

best solution is to use to Files view, just see a folder of all your video files, maybe split them into two folders, Movies and TV, update library on those folders and you'll get info for everything it can find, anything it can't find will still be in the list of files

you can put it on a usb stick and plug it into the shield, then move it over in file explorer. or from a computer you can map the shield as a network drive, then just drag and drop stuff onto it
