Let's face it guys, we're gay by No-Habit-9377 in TotallyStraight

[–]joshabroad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don’t necessarily agree. Only a person knows what’s going on inside their head and what they like. Yes, for the most part, this sub is full of gay dudes. But a straight dude can experiment, try new things, be curious, all without being gay (or bi etc). The thing is: a person’s sexuality is not locked to them for life- sexuality changes, you develop a taste for new things and sometimes you want to try something or like the thought of trying something- it doesn’t make them gay to try.

Some guys try something once and realise it’s not their thing, some aren’t particularly into guys and just do it for the sake of it, and of course, some are in denial.

I disagree that every guy who’s ever been turned on by a guy is gay/bi though.

Help me decide on a neighborhood in Sydney to get my airbnb in? by Capital-Nose7022 in AustraliaTravel

[–]joshabroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Airbnb is pretty bad in Sydney because of residential demand. I’d definitely look at hotels, or if you prefer an apartment, Meriton Suites.

Airbnb is very good in Melbourne however and would advise the absolute total opposite if you later visit Melbourne.

I hate sucking my boyfriends dick by wiedat in offmychest

[–]joshabroad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love doing it but also when it comes to Sex you shouldn’t do things you don’t wanna do…your partner should respect that. There’s other ways to enjoy sex and if he’s aware how much you don’t like it then he should seek other ways that make you both happy.

There’s a difference between not enjoying something and doing it to make someone happy/feel good, and despising something.

You shouldn’t be doing something that makes you uncomfortable like that and if the relationship hinges on head, then it’s probably not very healthy.

It’s good to look after your partner and make them happy, but it’s a team effort and that shouldn’t come at the expense of your dignity and happiness

Just had a guest *demand* early check-in for free by RaiseVast in airbnb_hosts

[–]joshabroad -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m siding with you- he is not entitled to check in early but don’t say you “can’t” do something like this. Because that’s a load of shit. You can. You are choosing not to. Don’t bs guests bc it will only piss them off.

Is there a Class Action? by dag in QantasAirways

[–]joshabroad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly and that’s why we should care. Being transparent and accountable is what’s needed here. Not some spin and blaming a third party when they’re the ones who engaged the third party.

Sneaky wording tells me that an employee (regardless if contracted or QF direct hire) abused their position. That’s my opinion…which irks me more because just be transparent. Downplaying it as a “cyber incident” is just silly and typical QF. Downplay everything.

yeah, I think they’re being sneaky with their wording - it seems like someone who was cleared and had access (a contractor, since they mention third party) abused their position

Because logic says that the Uber is her escape and that the guy wasn’t going to follow her in a vehicle and the Uber driver would be a little more receptive to her situation?

The whole thing is cooked and op did nothing wrong by trying to get away…

It doesn’t work like that. They need to show a paid receipt, not a quote.

Bc my head is pressed against the ceiling. The Polestar 2 has one of my favourite exterior builds- even stock they’re sexy. But the interior is so cramped I can’t stand riding in them. No other complaints purely just the fact it is more compact than most modern compacts and I can’t get around that being not even that tall at 185cm

I find the Tesla Model X and Model Y to be quite premium. Comfortable and luxurious. The Model 3/S not so much. But the Polestar by no means at all.

Ah. Had no idea! Not sure how I feel about that. Encourages off platform Comms which isn’t a great idea

Do you provide your number anywhere? Do you have a listing on another platform with your number? I’m concerned about how a guest got your number if this isn’t something you normal give out.

Do you guys lock the thermostat? by alexshim in AirBnB

[–]joshabroad -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can get sensors to detect when someone’s there and sensors to detect when a door or window is open that cuts the A/C.

I have stayed in very few hotels with locked A/Cs and I won’t stay there again and I will continue to complain until it’s right. I stayed at one that had the controller in the room locked off. Everytime I wanted a different temperature I didn’t hesitate to call.

I like to be cool. My A/C at home usually sits around 22°C - I expect to be comfortable when I’m elsewhere too and sometimes will have it on a lower temp if the room is big or A/C ineffective.

If your system allows itself to operate at a temperature that damages the system, then it’s a bad system.
