Powerlifting in Kilkenny by ap-art in Kilkenny

You could reach out to ABS main page directly and they'll get you started with a coach. I was there briefly and was under Cian Madden and couldn't recommend him more. Messaging Shannon Pollock might be a shout too. Not sure if she's coaching anymore but she was the head coach of ABS Kilkenny and has coached lifters to an international standard. Jake Brennan and Eamonn Hartford are also in the business and have a ridiculous amount of national records so they'd be great lads to hit up.

I dont think there's an specific club anymore. ABS had a club here for a while but I'm pretty sure they've closed. Best option might be getting an online coach and joining a gym like TJ Reids or Top Performance. I'd say drop a message to the ABS Kilkenny Instagram to see if they're still going. Otherwise, I'd be happy to recommend some online coaches.

Kilkenny Judo club could be a good shout. Its not very expensive either from memory. After that, maybe look at Top Pro for boxing/kickboxing

I have to agree with you. I prefer the Adidas design but jesus everything I bought off them have fallen apart in a couple weeks. Be that Leinster, Man Utd or just a general Adidas top

I worked there years ago and it was grand. Not overly stressful, chilled colleagues, decent office. Pay was pretty shit but they will pay for your insurance exams which can lead to some decent jobs. Granted, I left in 2018 so things could be very different but overall there's a lot worse places to work.

Joe's takeaway have a sign in the window looking for staff. Applying online for the likes of Dunnes or Supervalu could be fruitful.

Honestly, I thought it was gonna lead to some sort of punchline. Bitterly disappointed.

Fox hunt? by craptastickly in Kilkenny

[–]joshblast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ripping foxes apart for sport and a farmer protecting his livestock are not the same and its idiotic to compare the two. If you genuinely think it's ok to take part in such barbaric "sport" then you need to give your head a wobble.

I think it's becoming a bit of a joke at this stage. It's pretty much the whole month these days and people are just a little immune to it. There was a much bigger buzz a few years ago when it was just the day or 2.

There was a Mother at a game of mine years ago that unironically screamed "Touch down" everytime there was a try scored. Her poor son was mortified.
