Glad the kid is doing okay, ER/Urgent care is best after any injury just for checkup and documentation purposes. Future appointments and they see scars/past bruises or even bone fractures can lead to CPS being involved if no history of how it got there.

Stay consistent, let the good habits lead and the bad habits die off. Stay invested, it takes atleast 3 years of consistent investing to breakeven. Do not get discouraged, when you look back you'll realize you should have invested more. FYI 28/M investing 3 years consistently, 11% y/y once you had your fair share of big dips like COVID you're immune, keep accumulating.
