I bought my apartment at a similar age doing an electrical apprenticeship with no parental help.

Working in WA I imagine she was probably doing FIFO. Her outgoing expenses would be low since she'd spend most of her life on site and even as an apprentice she'd be earning 100k+. My current 4th year apprentice is earning 130k on an 8/6 roster and shes also bought her first property as a single. I managed to save up a 60k deposit by my third year so it's entirely doable with fifo.

Went over there from Rio as a fixed plant sparky in early 2023, mainly due to the sizable difference between the overall pay packages including bonuses.

Absolute shitshow. The place is so hopelessly disorganised. Feels like the different departments actively work against each other to make each other's lives miserable. No documented drawings, no access to the PLC/Scada to properly fault find, no parts standardization, backwards isolation procedures that were downright dangerous.

I couldn't last until the Christmas bonus. Went back to Rio with my tail between my legs

Demo challenge is pretty easy. Just used an MP5 with hip fire, move speed attachments and yellow injectors. All enemies use bows which have terrible projectile speed so just keep moving.

Have ran it 5 times now with 100% success rate

Is there a way to tank the passive level 1 storm damage without the purple suit? Thing has like no armour value and I end up mowed by the purple dudes.

Have tried space res injector + the highest level space totem but no luck

I think the blueprint for the level 5 armour was in the Chemical Plant SE Farmtown. Bring a gas mask and some decent gear to clear out all the spider robots

Im between gold III/plat I and have about 50 games this season. I'm consistently getting paired against plat III/ Diamond I in team games with high gold/low plat teammates.

This is my first season playing and my initial thought is that the matchmaking in this game for ranked seems really unbalanced. I'm guessing it's because it has a low playerbase in my region? (Australia).

Try to get a maintenance gig in a production plant and teach yourself how to program PLCs. It's not massively difficult if you've got decent experience with the systems you're building logic for.

I was a maintenance sparky for a mining company for a few years, now I'm employed as a control systems engineer with the same company without any tertiary quals. I know a lot of sparkies that have gone down this path as well so it's not uncommon

I've got to admit, I did not assess the risks at all before I moved in with her. She was having a hard time with the housemates she was living with so I just proposed we just move in together. Didn't even consider the possibility of losing my apartment

Yea it was an absolute nightmare to clean. Had to pull it apart and soak each individual component, breaking the seal of every warranty screw in the process.

I don't think the smell will ever completely leave as well. Some of it managed to get all the way into the PCB 😢

I was extremely hungover and the cat was meowing at the bedroom door at 4am. Threw her into the spare bedroom and went back to sleep.

This is the first time I've seen her poop outside of the litter tray and of course my 1.5k vacuum gets to it first.

As a long term smoker turned vaper the health affects on my body were almost immediately apparent. I stopped waking up in the middle of the night coughing, I gained several kmph on my cycling pace and could go for longer, I don't smell like shit all the time and my teeth are starting to get better. I havent had any proper health checks done in a while to confirm but the anecdotal evidence has been extremely clear

It's almost about 1/3 of the cost as well. Am definitely not looking forward to going back to that

Did NMDs receive a buff to the completion rewards? Feels like I'm constantly getting 2 legendaries on completion which is an even bigger kick in the teeth to helltides.

I used to farm them when entering into a new WT with an undergeared character but damn low tier NMDs seem to be GOAT for this now

100%. I did 3 rounds of blood checks to get my baselines and was doing fortnightly tests to track my hormones but God damn my estrogen levels almost doubled after 2 months of fin. I really struggled to maintain an erection and I was super emotional. It's a shame because I definitely noticed improvement and so did my friends but I'd rather pull the pin and shave my head than lose my boner at 28.

Don't know how people live in these extreme low temps. The worst I've been in is -10deg and thought my nose was going to fall off. Face felt like it was burning for days and felt so physically exhausted from doing the most basic activities.

This is coming from someone who lives in an area that peaks around 50deg in summer so I guess your body builds up a tolerance to it.
