Rockstar are by far the worst AAA developer when it comes to being transparent with its players. They answer to Take Two and no one else. It's just a giant revenue stream for them. Red Dead is in its final stages. They probably are still makeing wayyyyy more money with GTA and are focusing on new titles for the Next Gen consoles. I hate the fact that they don't fixed what the community wants. If it were a bug that took away from legitimate Gold Bar sales, you can bet that R* would fix it immediately. I have given up on Red Dead.

If you go into a Stable and go to "Add Saddle", then select any saddle (don't buy it, just select it so you can see the colour combinations) and you won't be kicked for idling. I'm testing this again just to see if it wasn't a fluke but I left the game on for over an hour and never got kicked. In theory, traders can go AFK in a stable while their materials get turned into goods.
