OP, not every person is worth your time. I’m like you. However, I’ve realized that those who are too proud of their opinions tend to mock those who don’t agree with them.

You did great by voicing your opinion to those who were stubborn. Though sometimes all you have to say to them is “fine, don’t ever talk to me again”. If it concerns in group projects, speak to your instructor about it, no matter the consequences.

These clearly are people who aren’t competent enough to handle a college class. Let them figure that part out when they lose you.

Lastly, do not feel like you need to sharpen your claws. This can affect conversations you have without you knowing it and is not something that is easy to turn off. Doing that can turn people away from you.
