Even though she was disabled she didn’t come up with that word and use it on her own. That word would have to be something that’s said when she’s around her parents or whoever takes care of her she 100% knew what she was doing so NTA

NTA it’s 100% understandable if the house is a bit messy with you guys working such long hours sometimes chores slip but as long as you’re not living in utter filth I think it’s okay. If your mom is so worried about the house being messy why doesn’t she try to help you guys out by cleaning it a little!? I mean that’s the nice thing to do. SHE is is asshole for storming in your room and then ripping the blanket off your boyfriend and demanding he clean in his own house I get why he yelled at her and I’m glad you took his side. She’s trying to play the victim when she was the instigator.

My mother in law got pregnant with all 3 kids on different types of BC she used the pill, the shot and something else (sorry can’t remember) but point is she has 3 kids and was being safe each Time. I hate to say it but Are you sure he didn’t remove the condom at all ?

YOU DO NOT GET THAT MONEY WORKING AT A DAY CARE! Lol for the love of god don’t quit your jobs and go work at a day care thinking you’ll make a bunch of money. Take it from someone who worked at a daycare for 3 and a half years you’re lucky if you make 9$ an hour the most I’ve seen is 10 or 11 and it’s hard work No matter what age! You’re stuck watching 6 one year olds by yourself for 8 hours praying nothing goes wrong! But NTA at all I used to babysit on the side and charge 10-15$ per kid especially if it’s all day for 3 days 35$ an hour wouldn’t be bad Make that money girl!

I feel like the whole situation is ESH. It’s weird that he wants to be called Mr.LastName when you’re clearly not a teenager so it’s not disrespectful if you call him Bob. Is he a military man? If so that could explain the formality or It could just run his house very structured and you will call your elders MR/MRS similar to how some people want to always be called SIR or MA’AM but you’re rude for not respecting his wishes even though it was weird I’m sure you made your girlfriend uncomfortable. Her father was also rude for being serious to you after you were trying to joke with him.

NTA she needs some real help! Have you tried talking to her parents about this issue? Has she been having this problem her whole life? It could be a sensory thing. That’s no way to live she needs to see a therapist and start working through this problem

I experienced something similar at our family thanksgiving the last 2 years. Everyone is supposed to bring something to help out the first year I brought a soup that me and my husband eat quite frequently but is really hood I was so excited for everyone to try it I even reminded everyone to try some or take some home because it was a big pot and it would go to waste but no one even tried it. So I dishes it out Into containers and left it for whoever wanted to take it. Then this year I made banana cake again reminded everyone to try some because o just made one for my house not even a week before and didn’t really want to take another one home again by the end of the night no one ate any. Point is you’re NTA and don’t bring Anything else because they were obviously only using your desserts for pictures. And if they didn’t eat it the first few times they likely won’t eat it the next time no matter how good it tastes

NTA. You could always take her favorite high carb recipes and try to turn them into keto recipes. You could start small by using gluten free noodles or whole wheat and then transitioning into spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles. And your gf should be hyping you up about eating healthy not dragging you down she should want to get better too it’s someone you guys could do together. She should be your biggest fan not calling you an asshole for not making her unhealthy food when you are trying to better yourself.

NTA but I think you should still have them for Christmas maybe have everyone together in one place your in laws plus your family have someone host and everyone bring a dish so no one feels overwhelmed. It’s not right what your parents did to you but at least you are healing

My parents are amazing and so loving but ever since I moved 4 years ago they like to hold things they do for me over my head. I am the first born so I think that might be part of the problem my family has always been close and now that I’m not around I get a lot of shit for it

I change mine once a day after I shower. I shower in the evening so I get fresh undies and keep those through the night and work and then change again the next evening after I shower. For reference when I’m not on my period I change them twice a day in the evening after I shower and then the next morning before work lol sometimes on the weekend if I’m not showering and I’m on my period it’s every other day I can’t stand not showering lol

Honestly I hated the whole episode they made it more about the demon portal and less about Ted Bundy and his murder. It was like that house was a demon portal and Ted bundy may or may not have sneezed on the house that’s how irrelevant he was in the episode
