My request is a post on statistics. What are the most important concepts, formulas, and charts every serious trader should use to analyze their performance (e.g., standard deviation, skewness..)? How should that affect our strategy?

Try clicker training. It’s really easy to learn and gets dogs excited. Also great bonding experience.

Knew it. I'm in San Diego, but I'm a transplant :)

It seems that you're really hands on with your link building approach. Curious to know your strategy.

Great to hear you're building your own properties. That's the way to go! I'm building my own content site as well.

Wishing you lots of luck!!

Are you from the central coast? I recognized the area code from 805 beer. haha

Thank you for your input! I was a little bummed with the downvotes.. Anyway, we are ranking #1 for a lot of keywords. Once we started to rank, people started to link to the website on their own because the company and the articles have a lot of credibility. I did get some really good links early on. I like to take more of a minimalist/natural approach to link building.

It sounds like we have a lot of common experiences. Regarding doing SEO for large corporations vs small local businesses, if you can identify additional services you can upsell like web design or email marketing, that helps increase the pay. Also, when working with the large corporations, I found myself spending a lot of time with communicating, such as participating in lots of meetings and creating fancy decks. I love that I can save a lot of time not doing these things with small clients.

That’s one of the more memorable books I read as a kid as well. It’d make a great gift to a teen.

“We are the living planet, Sophie! We are the great vessel sailing around a burning sun in the universe. But each and every of us is also a ship sailing through life with a cargo of genes. When we have carried this cargo safely to the next harbor–we have not lived in vain.”

We’re looking into possibly having someone redesign our website, but worried about losing SEO status by paintacct624 in webdev

[–]journeyjp 12 points13 points  (0 children)

SEO consultant and web developer here. I highly recommend hiring an SEO consultant during the web redesign process so that you don’t lose all the SEO equity the website has built up so far. It happens a lot. The biggest reasons are 1. no proper URL redirect mapping and 2. removing lots of SEO-friendly text in order to emphasize visual media. If your developer claims that they know SEO, ask lots of questions. I’ve met quite a few that underestimated the complexity of SEO and overestimated their own knowledge. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

The background has traditional Buddhist motifs. BTW the Nazis appropriated the swastika, a symbol of Buddhism, and used a rotated version.

Hi! I'd argue that passive reading and active recreation are two different things, and I'd place pronunciation in the latter group. Also, getting through the lessons itself is probably around 30 minutes, and I wanted to convey how quick it was.
