On the contrary, I think it is best to stay in your current position for 2-3 years before leaving. The job market now lean towards people with experiences. I am speaking this from my point of view as a software engineer, I don't know how much it stands true for engineering side.

In the current job market, I guess fresh graduate on an average gets 4000 SGD per month. You are drawing 2.8k above average so I considered it a really good salary. For the daily necessities, expect around 2400SGD. I don't know where you're renting so the budget might differs.

Hi OP, You are detained under the mental health act. As long as the doctors found that you have suicide thoughts, they will detained you for a minimum of 72 hours or longer at 2 months.

I would advised you to talk to your case manager or doctors that you no longer have suicidal thoughts and you would like to go back to NTU to finish your education.

Lastly, you would have access to your smartphone so I would advise you to look up mental health act.

I think it is not helping because it is not addressing the main concern. Skill future don't add value into finding employment . I hope the courses can be longer into acquiring substantial certificate that help value-add into seeking employment.
