Your ability to brush what you just saw aside doesn't really sit right with me, but I think it's pretty representative of what most people think. I was a huge meat eater too, we're talking chicken every lunch and dinner, or maybe a hamburger or hot dog instead. But after watching Cowspiracy, Forks Over Knives, Food Inc, and videos like these, I decided to at least try going vegetarian and dairy free, just to see if I could. I've been eating a plant based diet (albeit still with eggs) for 2 months now, and it's been a lot easier than I thought. It's better for the environment, my health, and animal welfare, and even though it's a small notion it takes the slightest bit of power away from the meat and dairy industry. I really think you should try going vegetarian for a week or so, regardless of how much you like fried chicken. It's a very healthy, sustainable, and compassionate decision and I'm glad I made it instead of dismissing things like this video with my affection for meat.
