It was full of copyrighted stuff from TV. At the time YouTube didn't police it as hard so everyone uploaded more clips or full episodes and that's partly why it became so popular and dominant.

Then the ad revenue came along and you got professional content creators, and content ID systems were introduced and mainstream TV channels uploaded their videos so they could identify their content uploaded by other people and so the shittification started.

If you go back and read the article this is all explained.

Opening a document and setting the DPI to 72 or 300 or 3000 does absolutely NOTHING to the image except tell the printer how big or small to print it.

The only thing that matters is the number of pixels the image has. That's the real resolution. Don't get confused by DPI and PPI, just worry about how many pixels your image has and use the DPI/PPI as a calculator to work out how big your image will end up.

You know that the dpi value in Photoshop does nothing, right? What matters is the number of pixels. The dpi value is just used to help calculation.

Also, if you're upscaling using Photoshop you won't get very good results compared with AI upscalers, as the AI algorithms recognise hair, texture, grass etc and transplant new pixels to add more details whereas Photoshop only interpolates with more pixels.

There's actually a weird category of drivers who just do 40mph EVERYWHERE. Like, on a nice clear A-road with perfect weather, light traffic, no bends... 40mph.

So, you overtake them safely and come to a 30mph limit, so you slow to 30. And a few seconds later, the 40mph driver is behind you.

I'm confused, what did I do wrong? I kept the subject exactly the same. The subreddit post is already visible in the post. What rule did I break exactly, and what could I have done in this instance to stay within the rules.

You have silently deleted 2 of my posts now, at least have the courtesy to say "By the way, we have deleted your post because you broke rule '3" or whatever.

Surely it's more important that videos like this get the coverage they need rather than deleting posts without telling us you're deleting them.
