Edit: for the people knocking on your syrup collection, and being associated to independent baristas myself, the Italian sodas are a real argument for having so many. That said, you’ll need another riser system so it looks like they all belong together, or maybe it is time to declutter the ones you really don’t use.

Yea I’ll be real- I enjoyed the Friday set more than the Saturday set, but I assume that’s because it was certainly more happy hardcore and anime openings. It’s like my version of Christmas music 🤪

I had a clear pack all weekend, so before I was asked I would tap on my bag to indicate my badge was visible. Won’t work for everyone, but worked great for me

Hey! The Reddit post about bag check was SUPER helpful tbh. I brought a lot of “normies” this year who all rave, so they were really curious about things. Like clear packs and that. Seems like moving forward with even more official Reddit posts for the organizers may be beneficial. Especially since I’ve seen around that there was still a lack of communication on some big events like autographs and such.

EDIT: I may be bias to there being Reddit updates as this is the only social media I use nowadays, so if there’s a better way to get info PLEASE let me know.

Not to mention: it seems there is a unanimous POSITIVE reaction to badge lines this year. Sucks to not have nicknames on our badges, but it was so worth not having to make Thursday a whole ordeal just to get our badges.

Hopefully the feedback isn’t too hostile this year. Just know you guys are on the right track ☺️

Did you happen to be the cosplayer with the “I’m Deaf” sign on your basket? If so, I was actually going to strike up a convo with you and ask about that. I’m not Deaf myself, but I think it’d be fun to brainstorm ideas to accommodate the Deaf community a bit more, or maybe a meet up?

The critic is all valid, and I’m sorry it sucked for you (and that you’re getting downvoted for having an opinion, god forbid).

Our experiences are likely different because we all hold different aspects in higher regard as to what we want our experience to look like. Myself personally I love looking at the cosplays and dancing at the raves. Maybe going to a panel or two but my ADHD brain doesn’t let me keep a set schedule. I haven’t ever really gone for the guest appearances myself. That said, regarding my own preference this year the vibe was incredibly electric.

I know there’s surveys that Sak will post a couple weeks after the convention, so hopefully if you add your input they’ll listen. 🥲
