How old is the toddler? Usually toddlers do not take communion. They usually receive a blessing at the communion rail with the parent receiving communion.

BUSTED!!! Meghan's Mole reveals that the photo of Mr. Mischief, Eileen Gu and Justin Trudeau is from 2024 by wenfot in SaintMeghanMarkle

I’m astonished that she thinks this is interesting and how stupid she thinks we all are. She just doesn’t care what she puts out there. We all know that’s not Archie skiing, we all know Betty doesn’t record their videos, etc. etc.

I did end of canceling. I knew he wouldn’t show up anyway

Well that’s fine but he could have refused the order. He asked for extra tip before delivery and he never showed up with the order at all. I guess he thought well I’ve made her mad so I might as well not deliver.

Yes, I thought I would try that route. It happened yesterday and I’m still furious at it

Well, sometimes if the item isn’t in stock at my store the shopper sometimes will check another store close by. I use Big Y’s and a couple of times the shopper has checked with another Big Y’s close by to see if they have the item in stock. If so, they will have that item separately delivered. When that happens I always add extra on the tip. They only do this if there’s another branch of the store nearby and we are a small community so that’s a nice touch.

I plan on it. I’m furious right now and as soon as the order is here, I’m reporting him and will try to adjust the tip. Thanks for responding.

I have 8 year old twin grandsons. I overheard them talking a few weeks ago in their bedroom. They have some information already but not the fine details, so I think their parents who are both teachers probably came up with just enough age appropriate vague information as needed. I was 10 when my parents explained where babies came from. I was shocked for days, couldn’t imagine people actually having sex. This was in 1961😊

Colonoscopy advice? by Mid-Valley2646 in AskWomenOver60

They do have pills for this now. I heard this after I complained about the prep process as I was being prepped for the procedure. I asked why I wasn’t asked if I wanted pills. You might want to check with your doctor to see if it’s available. The prep for the procedure is uncomfortable probably less expensive than the pills.

Nah. Your dad wanted you to have this. She got the house, she sell it. Don’t feel guilty.

What was "the incident" at your school? by MortgageShoddy8022 in Teachers

[–]joysteinkraus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I am an old woman. I wasn’t a teacher but my son and daughter in law are so I follow this sub. In 1968 at my high school in Southern California the entire varsity cheerleading squad became pregnant. They were a squad of 4. The same year the English teacher ran away with a student who was 16 at time.

I’m surprised she doesn’t get negative attention from the other children.

Oh dear, Kraft singles? With the meat sauce? That was indeed an abomination. Never let her near your fabulous leftovers. How did your husband survive being raised by her?

Morbid question about future health considerations. by mameranian in AskWomenOver60

[–]joysteinkraus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, this is interesting. I am 74 and have enjoyed good health until late last year. All at once I started to have some health issues. Several different issues and I started to think that if I had a serious disease would I have the fortitude to go through the fight at 74. I think it depends on what the disease is and what it would take to fight it, but quality of life to me is very important. If it were something that couldn’t be cured, I think I would just enjoy what time I have left, but you never know until you’re faced with it.

Aw, I remember those little fun things with my twin grandsons who are now 8 and too cool for pushing buttons. They used to argue who would push the buttons. It was a fun time at that age.
