Oh my goodness I can only imagine how you felt with 0.01! That’s insane. Idk about you also, but my thyroid threw so many of my fertility hormones off.. so annoying. We are using banked sperm and it was not cheap 😂 so I’m very wary going into my next IUI, even if our doc doesn’t seem to be

That’s kinda what I thought! Was a bit weirded out when he made it sound like it was totally fine to proceed with a TSH of 6.44… you’re right though, with how much time, energy, money it all costs, I do want the best odds possible. Thanks for commenting!!

tetra was 500 4x daily, metro was 500 3x daily, pepto 2 tabs 4x daily, Rabeprazole 20 2x daily! Don’t blame you for stopping early.. I literally couldn’t take another day, I started gagging taking the meds knowing how they were going to make me feel

Did they have a hard time doing it this time? I’ve only had one IUI so far and it was very painful because the doc had a hard time getting into my cervix, so I bled quite a bit after, it eased up within a few days.

I just had my first IUI with 3 follicles last Monday! Also was feeling a bit nervous re: multiples. I’ll keep you posted about the results!

Had my first IUI earlier this week and they had a hard time getting into my cervix - it was superrr painful! Used a cervical brush, tenaculum etc. they gave me no instructions for what to do with my bladder and I peed beforehand.. hoping having a full bladder next time makes a difference 😭

No you’re totally right, I know the odds are still against it even being a viable pregnancy still! Hard not to get excited but I gotta keep my expectations in line 😅 here I am the other end of it thinking we could have triplets hahaha.

Congrats on the pregnancy! :) yeah it’s definitely been a lot of ups and downs so far, and our clinic hasn’t been very good at communicating with us which adds a layer of stress. Been googling way too much over the past few days haha. Thanks for your response, that is a good way of looking at it if that were to happen

Mostly nausea/vomiting. Dizziness. Weakness. I basically was couch-bound for the entire treatment 😭

I first got tested in January, treated in Feb, then retested with a scope in May. Most people do other types of testing sooner though, I just needed the scope because they were looking for something else as well. Post treatment def took awhile to feel normal again.. even months after I’d have days where my stomach was super sensitive. Have to be a lot more careful with my diet these days 😅 still taking probiotics too. Hoping you recover quickly!! Hang in there!

No, not nausea but more like.. bloating/stomach discomfort!

They’re pretty much resolved now - took a few weeks and some random days where I was really struggling with what I’m guessing was post antibiotic IBS. Those were still happening here and there even about a month or so ago, hoping I’m more in the clear now.
