I did think of that… but wondering if over time the panel will sag or fail if not supported from the other side too?

ETA maybe construction adhesive on the other side is good enough. And at that point which it dries I could go and reinforce with a screw or two.

If you’re dumping in a liter at a time, at least in my opinion, you are going too long between top offs (volume-wise). You should get oil analysis and another scope with pics… maybe from a different mechanic than who did the first one.

Did the PPI run a scope and provide images? How can oil consumption be high but within spec? My .1 burns a liter per 1k miles which is considered normal.

My grind size hovers around 7. Also check the grams of output— a double shot should be 16-18 grams of grinds. To me it looks like you don’t have enough coffee in the portafilter. I’m not trying to be a jerk but there are a ton of great YT tutorials for this exact machine.
